I’m a member of the LGBTQ+ community. I understand the challenges of queer experience while also acknowledging I hold white privilege.

Finding a therapist who reflects you and your experiences and who is a part of your community is so important, but can also be difficult to find. 

I aim to provide an affirming and safe space for all of my clients, and those who identify as part of the diverse LGBTQ+ community are welcomed and celebrated. 


Most often when problems arise in families, nobody is to blame or the “cause.” Patterns develop over time and can throw things off balance. As tempting as it is, assigning blame doesn’t help things to change. 

Everyone may see the issues differently, but I can help you develop a shared vision for how your family will move forward. I’ll guide you to make changes to enhance communication, improve youth misbehavior, and strengthen your connection. 

While family members may not be the cause, they can certainly be part of the solution.

Family therapy is so effective because you’re addressing more of the moving parts of the whole family’s dynamic rather than just one piece (i.e., individual family member). Change can be much more dynamic and efficient in this way, and longer-lasting. 


I view things holistically. There are many factors that play a part in wellness. When things are out of balance, that leads us to being unwell.

Symptoms of anxiety and/or depression can provide information. They signal that something is off and needs to be examined, rather than covered up or ignored.
